Non-Regular Classes Involving Single Dog Entries
VETERAN DOGS, 7 Yrs. – 9 Years VETERAN BITCHES, 7 Yrs.- 9 Years
A class for Dogs and a class for Bitches 7 years of age up to 9 Years.
VETERAN DOGS, 9 Yrs. – 11 Years VETERAN BITCHES, 9 Yrs.- 11 Years
A class for Dogs and a class for Bitches 9 years of age up to 11 Years.
VETERAN DOGS, 11 Yrs.+ VETERAN BITCHES, 11 Years +
A class for Dogs and a class for Bitches 11 years of age or older.
Dogs and Bitches entered in the Veteran Classes may be neutered or spayed in accordance with the following:
AKC Rules, Ch. 11, Sec. 8: Neutered dogs and spayed bitches are allowed to compete in Veterans Classes only at independent specialties and/or those all-breed shows which do not offer any competitive classes beyond Best of Breed. This is an independent specialty.

FIELD DOGS FIELD BITCHES
For Dogs and Bitches who have an AKC Hunting title. All Field entries must be intact.
Winners of these Non-Regular classes, if otherwise undefeated, will compete for Best of Breed.
Non-Regular Classes Involving Multiple Dog Entries
Stud Dog Class – For Stud Dog and two his Get. Stud Dog must be entered in the Stud Dog Class and
must be shown in the ring with his Get. Owner of Stud Dog need not necessarily be owner of Get. Get
only to be judged, based on the merits of the Get. Get must be entered individually in one of the Regular
Classes, Best of Variety Competition or some other Non-Regular Class. AKC Ch. 11, Sec. 8: A castrated
male may be entered as Stud Dog in the Stud Dog Class.
Brood Bitch Class – For Brood Bitch and two of her Produce. Brood Bitch must be entered in the Brood
Bitch Class and must be shown in the ring with her Produce. Owner of Brood Bitch need not necessarily
be owner of Produce. Produce only to be judged, based on the merits of the Produce. Produce must
be entered individually in one of the Regular Classes, Best of Variety Competition or some other Non-
Regular Class. AKC Ch. 11, Sec. 8: A spayed female may be entered as Brood Bitch in the Brood Bitch Class.
Brace Class – Two Dogs of the same variety and must have at least one common owner and presented by a maximum of two handlers. The dogs comprising Brace MUST be named at the time of entry. If a dog who is to be part of a brace is not entered in any of the Regular Classes or for Best of Variety Competition, it must be entered for “Brace Class Only.”

Please Note: Early Sign-Up for the “on-the-day” events is appreciated in order to facilitate planning. Your consideration is appreciated. CGC/TRICK DOG/TDI (Therapy Dog) testing has limited capacity and will be closed when limits are reached. Early sign-up is recommended. Please check the box on the Registration Form if you plan to test your dog in any one of these areas, and please contact Evan Emmons at [email protected] to reserve your test spot.
- Pee Wee Special Attraction
The Pee Wee Special Attraction is a pre-Junior Showmanship class. The Pee Wee class is geared toward children 5–9 years of age. Children younger than five cannot participate in the Pee Wee Class Special Attraction. The safety of the children is a primary concern. Please check the Pee Wee box on the Registration Form if you plan to enter your child in this event.
